Vegetation and Habitat Analyses

Hamer Environmental staff has conducted botanical studies and habitat analyses throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our experience ranges from routine forest inventories for collecting and monitoring habitat conditions to complex forest ecosystems studies and habitat modeling for indicator species. Our botanists are skilled in all aspects of field and lab identifications. We can provide a variety of vegetation analyses and species inventories. Our recommendations can be of use in planning developments and providing for subsequent rehabilitation of affected areas. We provide the following services:

  • Threatened, Endangered, Candidate and Sensitive Plant Surveys
  • Lichen, Bryophyte and Fungi Studies
  • Forest and Plant Community Delineation and Cover Type Mapping (GIS)
  • Abundance, Cover, and Productivity Estimation
  • Riparian Vegetation Inventories
  • Soil Description and Analyses
  • Aerial-Photo and Map Interpretation
  • Habitat and Forage Quality Evaluations
  • State and Federal Noxious Weed Assessments
